Send.wang · Simple and private peer-to-peer transfer

FAQ

How does Send.wang transfer files?

Open send.wang to auto-generate a room code and QR code. Scan with another device to join the same room, then transfer files peer-to-peer. Data uses WebRTC direct connection, bypassing the server.

Are transferred files stored on the server? Is it secure?

No. Send.wang uses WebRTC peer-to-peer technology. Files transfer directly between devices. The server only handles connection signaling and never touches or stores any file data.

What is the maximum file size?

No theoretical limit. Supports large file chunked transfer, breakpoint resume, and SHA-256 integrity check. Transfers can continue from where they left off after network interruption.

Do I need to install an app or register?

Not at all. Send.wang is a pure web app. Open it in any modern browser and use it immediately - no download, no registration.

Which devices and platforms are supported?

All devices running modern browsers: Windows, macOS, Linux desktops, plus Android and iOS. Any WebRTC-capable browser works.

How fast is the transfer?

Peer-to-peer direct transfer is typically much faster than cloud storage. On the same local network, it automatically uses LAN direct connection, approaching bandwidth limits.
